Account Sales Executive – Aviation Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Sales Executive to join a growing aviation‑focused organisation in West Sussex. The role combines proactive sales activity with ongoing account management, supporting customers across the aviation, engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales growth targets.
• Handle the full sales cycle – from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation and order fulfilment.
• Prepare and issue quotations, follow up on opportunities and maximise conversion rates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating with Operations, Procurement and Logistics.
• Monitor customer activity, upsell and cross‑sell products and services.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and produce regular account reviews and sales reports.
• Resolve customer queries efficiently and represent the company at meetings, industry events and trade shows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales, account management or commercial role, preferably within aviation, aerospace or technical sectors.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive sales approach.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £28,000‑£33,000 per year.
• Hybrid working model – 4 days in the office, 1 day remote.
