Accounts and Tax Manager

About the role

This position offers a senior‑level opportunity within a respected firm of Chartered Accountants. You will lead the accounts and taxation team, overseeing year‑end financial statements and a portfolio of both individual and corporate tax affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, review and finalise year‑end financial reports for a diverse client base.
• Prepare and verify personal tax returns and corporate tax filings.
• Maintain and develop relationships with assigned clients, providing strategic advice on accounting and tax matters.
• Coach, instruct and supervise junior team members, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Support business development by building strong client connections.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA professional.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current tax legislation and financial reporting standards.
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and leading small teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.
