Accounts Assistant – Creative Agency (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team supporting creative agencies in central London. Working in a hybrid environment, you will help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions while collaborating closely with senior accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile client/vendor balances.
• Maintain and update general ledger entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review employee expense reports and process reimbursements.
• Provide documentation and support during audit periods.
• Assist the finance team with ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Xero or Paprika accounting software.
