About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established accountancy practice south of Bath that is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager. The successful candidate will lead a busy, friendly department and help shape its future growth while working in a relaxed office environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants and junior staff.
- Manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality advisory services.
- Support the department’s strategic initiatives and contribute to business development.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified with several years of relevant experience.
- Ambitious, highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Strong analytical mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Required skills
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA).
