Accounts Payable Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an organised Accounts Payable professional to join a well‑established international business on a maternity‑cover basis. You will play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time while gaining exposure to a fast‑paced finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and obtain timely approvals.
• Review and process employee expense claims.
• Manage weekly payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account queries.
• Set up new suppliers and verify bank details.
• Investigate and resolve supplier and internal finance queries.
• Support month‑end deadlines and maintain accurate financial records.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
• Experience handling high volumes of invoices accurately.
• Knowledge of VAT and multi‑currency transactions.
• Strong Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
