Acquisitions Analyst – Real Estate

About the role

Oberland is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to support the full deal cycle for new real‑estate investments, primarily in hospitality assets such as hotels and aparthotels. You will work closely with senior team members, source off‑market opportunities, and contribute to financial underwriting and post‑acquisition asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate off‑market opportunities through agents, direct outreach and sector networks.
• Maintain a live pipeline of on‑market deals and monitor ownership changes, distressed situations and repositioning prospects.
• Build and maintain acquisition models covering levered and unlevered returns, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
• Draft investment memoranda for internal committees and external investors.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities with lawyers, agents and technical advisers.
• Analyse operational performance of hospitality assets, including RevPAR benchmarking and operator/brand options.
• Support debt structuring by modelling development and investment finance scenarios and liaising with lenders and brokers.
• Assist post‑acquisition asset management by tracking performance, business‑plan milestones and liaising with operators.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in real‑estate investment, underwriting, feasibility or a closely related field (e.g., real‑estate private equity, hotel advisory, development).
• Proven ability to work independently across the full investment cycle.
• Willingness to travel across the UK (up to ~25%) for site visits and project evaluation.

• Base salary £45,000–£55,000 per year.
