Activity Coordinator – Part‑time

About the role

The Activity Coordinator will plan and organise daily activities for residents at Peregrine House, a care home in Tottenham. Working 25 hours per week, the role supports residents' social, intellectual and spiritual well‑being through a varied programme of events and outings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daytime and evening activities, including group sessions, outings and fundraising events.
• Maintain records of activity participation and outcomes, agreeing reporting requirements with the manager.
• Coordinate the activity programme with other services in the facility and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Communicate regularly with managers, senior care assistants, chefs and relatives to ensure smooth operation.
• Safeguard resident and staff rights, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to build friendly relationships with residents to help them adjust to life in the home.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with staff, residents and families.
• Flexibility to work additional hours for outings and special events.
