Agricultural/Turf Technicians – Oxfordshire and surrounding areas

About the role

Join Farol’s growing team as an Agricultural or Turf Technician at our Oxfordshire head office. You will work with John Deere machinery, providing workshop and on‑site support for a range of agricultural and turf equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repairs on agricultural and turf machinery in the workshop.
• Deliver mobile diagnostic and repair services to customer sites.
• Carry out Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) and refurbishment tasks.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and classroom sessions to become a certified John Deere technician.
• Support the Central Service team and explore opportunities in precision technology or sales.

Required profile

• Dedicated, self‑motivated engineer with a passion for agricultural or turf machinery.
• Mechanical or motor‑mechanical background, or other technical experience.
• Willingness to undertake an accelerated training scheme and obtain John Deere certification.
• Ability to work both in a workshop environment and on‑site at customer locations.

Required skills

• Mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Use of diagnostic equipment for machinery.
• Knowledge of turf and agricultural equipment.
