AI Software Engineer – C# .NET

About the role

Apache Associates is partnering with an innovative SaaS organisation that is heavily investing in AI. They are seeking an AI Software Engineer with strong C# .NET expertise to transform emerging AI capabilities into production‑ready features across their product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement prompts, context strategies and LLM integrations for real‑world product features.
• Develop AI‑powered functionality primarily in C# .NET, integrating it into existing codebases.
• Build production‑grade AI services with robust error handling, fallbacks, monitoring and logging.
• Prototype ideas quickly and evolve successful experiments into stable, evaluated features.
• Create structured evaluation methods for LLM outputs using measurable business scenarios.
• Work with multiple LLM providers, balancing quality, cost and latency.
• Leverage AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor in daily development.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions align with coding standards, architecture and deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing software in C# .NET.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models, prompt engineering and API integration.
• Ability to move from rapid prototyping to production‑grade implementation.
• Strong understanding of accuracy, reliability, latency, cost and monitoring considerations for AI services.
• Effective communication with product managers, owners and subject‑matter experts.
