Analyst/Associate – FIG & Insurance Advisory & Principal Investments

About the role

This position sits within a fast‑growing merchant bank that combines advisory services with principal investments across the global financial services sector, with a strong focus on insurance. You will work on both advisory and investment transactions, helping to create long‑term value for insurers, banks, asset managers and other institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities and strategic transactions; build financial and valuation models, investment cases and transaction recommendations.
• Lead due‑diligence processes, coordinate advisers and counterparties, and support interactions with management teams and investors.
• Assist in the assessment, execution and monitoring of proprietary investments, preparing investment‑committee materials and portfolio reviews.
• Prepare investor presentations, information memoranda, fundraising materials and other documentation for capital‑raising and transaction processes.
• Conduct sector research, market mapping and target screening to originate new investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Analyst or Associate level with relevant full‑time experience.
• Investment‑banking or principal‑investing background focused on FIG/insurance, with demonstrable live M&A execution, OR Big 4 transaction‑services/M&A advisory experience in the same sectors.
