Android Software Engineer (Freelance, 12 months)

About the role
Moneyfarm is looking for a freelance Android Software Engineer to join its product team for a 12‑month contract. You will help shape the next generation of our investment app, delivering a simple, reliable and engaging experience for thousands of users.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and ship new features for the Android application.
- Write and maintain automated tests for new and existing functionality.
- Collaborate with designers and frontend engineers to ensure a consistent UI/UX across consumer‑facing products.
- Advocate for high‑quality code, maintainability and performance.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android framework.
- Familiarity with modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVI.
- Experience with clean code principles (SOLID, Clean Architecture).
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a distributed team.
