Android Software Engineer (Freelance, 12 months)

About the role

Moneyfarm is looking for a freelance Android Software Engineer to join its product team for a 12‑month contract. You will help shape the next generation of our investment app, delivering a simple, reliable and engaging experience for thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship new features for the Android application.
• Write and maintain automated tests for new and existing functionality.
• Collaborate with designers and frontend engineers to ensure a consistent UI/UX across consumer‑facing products.
• Advocate for high‑quality code, maintainability and performance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android framework.
• Familiarity with modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVI.
• Experience with clean code principles (SOLID, Clean Architecture).
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a distributed team.
