Approved Electrician – Full‑time, £55k‑£60k

About the role

We are recruiting an Approved Electrician for a well‑established infrastructure services business operating across the UK. The position is permanent, full‑time and based in Weston‑super‑Mare, delivering critical electrical works for commercial and industrial clients, including fuel retail sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, inspection and testing of electrical systems on a varied portfolio of sites.
• Perform reactive and remedial duties, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Liaise directly with clients on‑site to discuss progress and identify further service needs.
• Complete test certifications and RAMS documentation to the required standard.
• Represent the business professionally at all times.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition certification.
• C&G 2330 (or equivalent) and C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualifications.
• JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Hands‑on electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Competence in completing RAMS documentation.
• CompEx Ex07 & Ex08 (business will support certification if not held).
