Arabic (Maghrebi) Language Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for an Arabic (Maghrebi) language expert to help train large‑scale AI models. You will work remotely as a freelance contractor, providing high‑quality linguistic data that enables AI to understand Maghrebi Arabic vocabulary, dialects, grammar, idioms and cultural context.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in conversational sessions with AI models in Maghrebi Arabic across diverse topics.
• Verify linguistic accuracy, dialectal distinctions and cultural relevance of model outputs.
• Document error traces and failure modes to improve model reasoning.
• Suggest enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Linguistics, Arabic Studies, Translation or a related field (preferred).
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation or community work.
• Deep knowledge of Maghrebi phonetics, morphology, syntax, regional dialects and cultural references.
• Ability to communicate metacognitively and “show your work”.
