Area Sales Manager – Industrial Doors (South West England)

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for industrial door solutions across the South West England territory. The focus is on selling planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts, while also identifying opportunities for new equipment, replacements, and modernisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales, revenue and growth targets for maintenance contracts and new equipment sales.
• Develop new business and expand existing customer accounts.
• Identify contract renewals, service upgrades, multi‑site agreements and long‑term maintenance deals.
• Generate and follow up accurate quotations and proposals.
• Conduct regular customer visits, site surveys and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with Service Operations, Engineering, Projects and Key Account teams to create sales opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records, quotations and contract documentation.
• Provide high‑quality customer service throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field sales environment.
• Experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements or industrial products is highly desirable.
• Strong business development and customer relationship management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand market conditions and competitor activity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.

What we offer

• Base salary £35,000‑£40,000 per year plus commission and bonus (OTE £60,000‑£65,000).
