Area Sales Manager

About the role

Based in Medway, you will lead sales activities across the South East, promoting premium home‑improvement products to trade outlets, distributors and developers. The role is field‑based and focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the construction market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture key client relationships throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction and home‑improvement sectors.
• Build strong connections with contractors, merchants and specifiers.
• Deliver product presentations and provide technical support as required.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs while maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs in collaboration with internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field‑based sales, preferably within construction or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a regional territory and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently while travelling frequently.

Required skills

• Experience using an advanced CRM system.
