Assembly Operative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assembly Operative to join our permanent, full-time team in Blyth. You will work on a three‑shift schedule in a modern manufacturing environment, earning a competitive salary of £27,000‑£28,000 inclusive of shift allowance.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to precise specifications.
• Follow detailed work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and workmanship.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse roles (preferred).
• Excellent manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
