Asset Data Analyst – Investment Banking (London)

About the role

We are seeking an Asset Data Analyst to support a major data transformation programme for a global investment and asset management organisation. The role focuses on the Pension Risk Transfer business, ensuring high‑quality investment data and delivering actionable insights to front‑office and reporting teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse investment and asset data to spot trends, anomalies and business insights.
• Build dashboards, reports and automated data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, Power BI and Alteryx.
• Manage outsourced asset‑data services, monitoring SLA compliance, data quality and governance.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and third‑party data providers.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Risk and Technology teams to deliver robust data solutions.
• Drive data‑governance initiatives, quality improvements and issue resolution across investment data platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Asset Data Analyst or in an investment‑data role within asset management.
• Strong knowledge of IBOR/ABOR, investment data structures and asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives.
• Understanding of asset valuations, market data and curve inputs (interest rates, inflation, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
