Assistant Contracts Manager – Highways & Civils

About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to join a fast‑growing highways and civils contractor in Dartford. The role offers hands‑on exposure to a variety of projects and a clear pathway to progress into a Contracts Manager position.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise on‑site work and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate activities between the Operations Manager and site teams.
- Prepare and manage RAMS while maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Support Contracts Managers in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Required profile
- Currently working on the tools or in a supervisory role within highways, groundworks or utilities.
- Proven experience coordinating people and overseeing site activities.
- Hold a Streetworks Supervisor, SSSTS or Gold CSCS card.
- Full UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the Home Counties.
