Assistant Sales Manager – Residential Estate Agency

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Sales Manager to join a leading independent estate agency in Morden. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will support the sales team, generate new residential sales instructions and help drive the office’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in day‑to‑day operations of the sales department.
• Generate and win new residential sales instructions through market appraisals and valuations.
• Manage a sales pipeline from offer to completion, negotiating offers to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service to vendors and purchasers.
• Support, coach and motivate team members, contributing to training initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local buyers, sellers, solicitors and mortgage advisors.
• Meet and exceed individual and branch performance targets while ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Assistant Sales Manager, Senior Sales Negotiator or similar estate‑agency role.
• Track record of generating instructions and meeting sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Confident in conducting property valuations and winning business.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Basic salary £29,500 per annum with an on‑target earnings package up to £68,400, including a company car or allowance.
