Assistant Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a flagship super‑prime mixed‑use refurbishment and fit‑out in the heart of Mayfair, London. The role will initially focus on the CAT A fit‑out phase through September 2027 and then transition to CAT B works until February 2028, offering continuity and strong career development potential.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day delivery of a complex, high‑end fit‑out programme.
• Assist in coordinating and sequencing subcontractors to maintain programme and quality standards.
• Manage site logistics, inductions and daily operational control.
• Help with quality assurance processes, inspections and sign‑off in line with project requirements.
• Support RAMS reviews and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Drive safe systems of work across site activities.
• Assist the wider site team in progress monitoring, issue resolution and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience on commercial fit‑out, refurbishment or high‑end construction projects.
• Strong understanding of site coordination and subcontractor management.
• Exposure to quality assurance, RAMS and health & safety procedures.
• Ambitious individual looking to develop within a complex, high‑profile project environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
