Assistant Tax Manager – Banking & Capital Markets

About the role
This position sits within a leading Big 4 Banking Tax Group, providing advisory services to top‑tier banking and capital‑markets clients. Working on a hybrid model from London, you will support complex tax engagements and develop your technical expertise across a range of high‑profile projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice on complex areas of tax law for banking and capital‑markets transactions.
- Support M&A transactions, cross‑border reorganisations and other restructuring work.
- Assist with tax disputes, controversy matters and compliance reporting.
- Contribute to audit support activities for clients.
Required profile
- Qualified or progressing towards a professional tax qualification.
- Experience in banking or capital‑markets tax advisory, preferably within a Big 4 environment.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
