Associate Price Reporter – EMEA Chemicals

About the role

Join a fast‑growing team of chemical price reporters in London, supporting S&P Global Commodity Insights. You will provide daily price assessments and market commentary for the EMEA chemicals sector, a market at the forefront of sustainability and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily market coverage and price assessments for EMEA chemicals markets.
• Research new markets and contribute to methodology development projects.
• Write commentaries, news stories, podcasts and infographics that explain price trends.
• Represent the company at industry events and build relationships with market participants.
• Gather market information through regular communication with sources and launch new price assessments as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with a wide range of personalities.
• Strong networking ability and experience developing business relationships.
• Good numeracy and proficiency with Excel.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Interest in commodity markets, particularly chemicals; additional European language skills (e.g., Turkish) are a plus.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
