Associate Sales Engineering Director

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Associate Sales Engineering Director in London. The role focuses on pre-sales technical support for IQVIA's Orchestrated Analytics, especially data warehousing and master data management (MDM) technology solutions. The person acts as the voice of the client and sales team back to Product and Engineering, helping turn disparate data sources into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical knowledge, advice and support to customers, understanding their business requirements and technology stack
• Work with sales teams during the sales process and give technical input for bid proposals, projects and technical documents
• Support pre-sales and product presentations at customer sites
• Own Proof of Concept projects, including rapid prototyping and product demos
• Convey technical concepts clearly to clients and non-technical partners, and feed client and sales feedback to Product and Engineering

Required profile

• Typically a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated experience with top-tier clients and end-to-end project ownership across many resources and teams
• Self-starter, excellent communication, quantitative and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Ability to energize and lead a team of partner engineers

Required skills

• Technical experience with MDM, data warehousing, ETL tools and iPaaS platforms
• CRM and marketing automation knowledge, and proven experience with Salesforce, are an advantage
