Associate/VP Leveraged Finance Credit Risk

About the role
We are seeking an Associate or Vice‑President to join our Leveraged Finance Credit Risk team in London. The role focuses on analysing credit risk for mid‑market and large‑ticket sponsor‑led leveraged finance transactions. You will be based in our London office and will contribute to the evaluation of both mid‑market and large‑ticket sponsor‑led deals.
Key responsibilities
- Perform credit analysis of new deals in the mid‑market and sponsor‑led leveraged finance space.
- Assess cash‑flow lending structures and evaluate associated risks.
- Analyze cash‑flow projections to determine repayment capacity.
- Review transaction structures to identify potential risk factors.
Required profile
- Strong credit analysis experience gained at a major bank or financial institution.
- Hands‑on experience with mid‑market and/or sponsor‑led leveraged finance transactions.
- Solid understanding of cash‑flow lending and financing structures.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex financing structures.
