Audit Partner – Crawley

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner or Audit Director to join our growing accountancy practice in Crawley. This senior position will lead client delivery, audit quality, team development and business growth across a diverse portfolio of SMEs, mid‑market firms and larger groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Deliver high‑quality audits in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and professional standards.
• Provide commercially focused advice and insight to clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Mentor, develop and manage audit teams.
• Drive audit quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Significant post‑qualified external audit experience.
• Proven track record of leading audits and managing client relationships.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards.
• Experience with SMEs, owner‑managed businesses and larger groups.
• Commercial awareness and business development capability.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• RI status or willingness to obtain it.
