Audit Senior – Qualified ACA/ACCA – London

About the role

This is a senior audit position within a fast‑growing Top40 accountancy practice in Central London. You will work on a mix of audit and accounts assignments, reporting to an Audit Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a variety of audit assignments across multiple industry sectors.
• Prepare audit files, conduct audit planning and support junior staff on fieldwork.
• Ensure audits are completed to high standards, on time and within agreed budgets.
• Supervise and review work of less senior team members.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.
• Produce statutory accounts and finalise accounts under manager supervision.
• Complete working papers, bank reconciliations and other manual control accounts.
• Prepare basic tax computations and returns (corporation tax, VAT).
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge and contribute to service pricing and client quotes.

Required profile

• Qualified or finalist ACA or ACCA accountant.
• Minimum 2 years external audit & accounts experience with SMEs.
• Experience in a Top100 or well‑established regional accountancy firm.
• Proven ability to work in a team on multiple audit clients and meet strict deadlines.
