Audit Senior – Sittingbourne

About the role

We are looking for a skilled, client‑focused Audit Senior to join our growing team in Sittingbourne. You will lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring high‑quality work and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Organise audit files with all necessary documentation in the appropriate sections.
• Analyse client accounting data and provide insights and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology and risk‑management requirements.
• Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Address client queries promptly and professionally.
• Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring high‑quality work.
• Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE and VAT submissions.
• Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for sign‑off.
• Drive efficiency and quality by using best practices and available technology.

Required profile

• Qualified practice accountant (ACCA or ACA).
• Experience managing and/or mentoring junior members of a practice team.
• Proven ability to deliver results and exceed expectations.
