Baggage Room Attendant – Seasonal Full‑Time

About the role

Executive Aviation is seeking enthusiastic Baggage Room Attendants to join the ramp team at Halifax Airport for the busy summer season. This full‑time, seasonal position runs from June to the end of October 2026 and offers hands‑on experience supporting airline operations.

Key responsibilities

• Safely move and sort guest baggage according to airline load plans.
• Load and unload bags from conveyor belts onto baggage carts.
• Operate and maintain all required ramp equipment after completing training.
• Collaborate with the Ramp Lead and other team members to meet tight turnaround times.
• Follow all airline and safety procedures while on the ramp.

Required profile

• Flexible availability for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) repeatedly.
• Willingness to wear required safety gear (steel‑toe boots, reflective vest, hearing protection).
• Hold a valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Pass a Transport Canada Restricted Area pass and a criminal background check.

Required skills

• Ability to operate ramp equipment safely after training.
