About the role

Join a dedicated Health Visiting Team in Surrey to support children and families through the Healthy Child Programme. As a Band 6 Health Visitor you will work within a multi‑disciplinary environment, delivering public health interventions and tailored support plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead public health activities for the health‑visiting skill mix team within the assigned locality.
• Deliver the Universal Partnership Plus reach of the Healthy Child Programme, assessing health needs and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Develop and maintain personalised support plans for families, working closely with paediatricians, speech and language therapists, dietitians and other partners.
• Collaborate with community services and local agencies to improve health outcomes for children.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior health‑visiting staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Health Visitor with experience in community health settings.
• Strong commitment to child health and family wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
