Bank Cashier – 9-Month Maternity Cover

About the role

Prime Personnel is seeking an experienced banking cashier to provide maternity cover for a nine‑month period at a prestigious international bank in London. The role is full‑time, based on‑site, and focuses on delivering high‑quality cashiering and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash transactions, standing orders, and payments accurately.
• Handle credit and debit card operations, including authorisations and settlements.
• Manage safety‑deposit box services and ATM cash handling.
• Provide front‑line customer service, answering queries and supporting clients.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal control procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cashiering and clearing within a banking environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Availability to work five days a week on‑site in London for the full nine‑month period.
