Bank Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join HCRG Care Group as a Bank Senior Occupational Therapist, providing specialist paediatric OT services across North‑West Surrey. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose and treat children, supporting families in self‑management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily therapy delivery, supervising therapists, assistants and students.
• Manage a personal caseload, adapting interventions to individual cultural and linguistic needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, devise child‑centred treatment plans and produce detailed reports.
• Recommend and train on specialist equipment for home and school environments.
• Liaise with health, education and social care professionals, attending case conferences and safeguarding meetings.
• Support service targets, participate in audits, training and research activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive paediatric experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including line‑management of Band 3‑5 staff.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children, families and multidisciplinary partners.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
