Bar and Waiting Apprentice

About the role

St Leonards Hotel in Ringwood is recruiting a Bar and Waiting Apprentice. The apprentice is the face of the hotel, making sure every guest leaves with a smile and a full belly, whether by greeting customers warmly or remembering their favourite seat. The apprenticeship is full time, paid between £219 and £254.20 per week, and is delivered through work-based training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit.
• Act as the insider behind the bar, recommending products to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after customers while they dine.
• Keep the bar safe, legal and clean, and deal with any issues quickly and safely.

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills.
• A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• A passion for great service and a warm welcome for every customer.
• A positive can-do attitude and a strong team spirit.
