About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Behaviour Support Assistants to work within secondary schools in Southport and Crosby. The role supports young people facing behavioural, emotional or social challenges, helping them engage positively with their education.

Key responsibilities

  • Support students both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Help maintain positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Build strong working relationships with pupils and staff.

Required profile

  • Resilient, calm under pressure and confident supporting students with additional behavioural needs.
  • Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Provide a full career history and at least two professional references, including the most recent placement.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
