Binder Claims Executive – US Casualty & Financial Lines

About the role

This position supports a well‑established independent Lloyd’s broker focused on US casualty binders, financial lines and property. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of multinational programmes, ensuring claims are validated, processed and paid within agreed timeframes while acting as a key advocate for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of US casualty binder claims, including Professional Liability, General Liability, E&O, EPL, Crisis Management and other specialty classes.
• Review claim information, coverage positions and carrier responses, providing commercially focused advice to clients.
• Monitor claim progress from notification to resolution, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and service‑level requirements.
• Negotiate with insurers, TPAs, adjusters and legal representatives to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Utilise CLASS and ECF systems for efficient submission, tracking and agreement of claims.
• Provide claims support across financial lines (D&O, E&O, Financial Institutions, Professional Indemnity) and property, including CAT and technical industrial risks.
• Produce accurate documents and accounting entries using broking systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues in London and overseas offices to deliver a consistent claims service.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling US casualty binder claims and specialty liability classes.
• Strong understanding of US casualty, financial lines and property risk structures.
• Familiarity with Lloyd’s market processes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, insurers, TPAs and internal teams.
