Block Manager – £30k‑£34k – 4‑day week, Hertfordshire

About the role

We are seeking a Block Manager to oversee a residential portfolio of up to 500 units in Hertfordshire. The role offers a competitive salary, a 4‑day working week and the chance to develop your expertise in block management within an award‑winning agency.

Key responsibilities

• Full management of an assigned portfolio of residential blocks.
• Prepare, monitor and report on service charge budgets.
• Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular property inspections and site visits.
• Drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in block or residential property management.
• Familiarity with Annual General Meetings and service charge budgeting.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organised and punctual.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client‑facing attitude with problem‑solving ability.
• Robust administration and IT competence.

Required skills

• IT proficiency for property management software.
