Block Manager – Residential Portfolio (Hove)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Block Manager to join a supportive property team in Hove. You will help manage a large residential portfolio of around 1,000 units across Brighton & Hove, working closely with a close‑knit team of eight professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day management of a large residential block portfolio.
• Attend and support AGM meetings, prepare documentation and take minutes.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections throughout the Brighton & Hove area.
• Manage LPE1 packs and provide conveyancing support.
• Ensure leasehold compliance with current legislation.
• Coordinate Section 20 consultation processes.
• Liaise with leaseholders, contractors, solicitors and surveyors.
• Oversee health & safety, fire risk assessments and general property compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal property management systems.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in Block Management or Residential Property Management.
• Strong knowledge of leasehold legislation and compliance procedures.
• Proven ability to handle AGMs, Section 20 consultations and contractor management.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, organised and solution‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
