BMS Data Center Sales Manager

About the role

A leading BMS business is looking for an experienced BMS Sales Manager to join its growing Data Center division. This is a new, business-focused role based in the South East / M25 corridor, developing relationships with data center owners, operators, consultants and contractors and winning new BMS opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and win new BMS business within the data center sector
• Build relationships with key clients, consultants and contractors
• Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals
• Interpret specifications and produce BMS points lists
• Work closely with engineering and project teams
• Manage selected existing accounts
• Attend client meetings and industry events

Required profile

• Proven BMS sales experience
• Experience generating new business
• Confident dealing with clients and senior decision makers
• Data center experience is highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence

Required skills

• Strong technical understanding of BMS and controls
• Ability to understand specifications and develop BMS solutions
• Knowledge of Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Siemens, Distech, Cylon or similar
