Business Development Associate - International Wealth Management

About the role

Prestige IFA Jobs is recruiting on behalf of a growing international wealth management business for a Business Development Associate in London. The role is a trainee pathway into international financial services, with a structured route towards becoming a Private Wealth Adviser over 2-3 years, including support for the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective international clients
• Engage potential clients by telephone, email and LinkedIn
• Introduce prospects to the wealth management services
• Develop, generate and qualify new business opportunities
• Arrange meetings between qualified prospects and experienced Private Wealth Advisers
• Build professional relationships and grow knowledge of international wealth management and financial markets
• Work towards industry qualifications and professional development

Required profile

• Ambitious, commercially aware and proactive, with a long-term interest in international wealth management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify opportunities, generate leads and communicate confidently with high-net-worth individuals
• Genuine interest in financial markets, economics and current affairs
• Previous experience in financial services, or a similar role; previous experience as a BDM is preferred

What we offer

• Basic remuneration of £24,000 - £28,000 and uncapped commission, with Year 1 OTE of £40,000 - £50,000
