BPA Transition / Implementation Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced BPA Transition / Implementation Manager to join our growing pensions operations team. You will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of buy‑ins, transitions, buy‑outs and post‑transaction activities for defined benefit schemes, working closely with trustees, administrators and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from onboarding to post‑implementation.
• Coordinate scheme transitions, data migration and operational readiness.
• Oversee data due‑diligence, validation, cleansing and quality control.
• Maintain relationships with trustees, third‑party administrators and internal teams.
• Support payroll and member administration transition activities.
• Produce management information, reporting and valuation extracts.
• Identify operational risks and enforce governance controls.

Required profile

• Strong experience in defined benefit pensions.
• Proven track record of managing pension scheme implementations or transitions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pension data.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
