Business Analyst – Capital Markets & Derivatives

About the role

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst to shape the architecture of our capital markets platform, focusing on repo trade capture and positions inventory data pipelines. You will work in a lean, agile environment, translating complex financial requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and convert detailed capital‑markets business needs into system changes for repo trade capture and inventory management.
• Consolidate regional requirements into global Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and ensure full traceability of technical test cases.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships, communicate roadmap progress and lead development scrums to accelerate delivery.
• Use Jira and Confluence to keep documentation current and facilitate communication between business and technology teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level Business Analyst experience within financial or capital‑markets environments.
• Expertise in at least one core area: Repo e‑Trading (RFQ, STP, ION/Bloomberg), Collateral optimisation (clearing, margins) or Term Repo lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of fixed‑income assets (bonds, US Treasuries) and moderate SQL/relational‑database knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong stakeholder facilitation skills.
