Business Analyst – eCommerce & AI Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a fast‑growing digital consultancy and help shape the future of eCommerce and AI for leading retail brands. The role is hybrid, with two days a week in our London office, and offers the chance to work across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate client needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support the delivery of complex eCommerce website projects.
• Lead AI discovery sessions and identify opportunities for AI‑driven automation.
• Collaborate with development teams during backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Participate in client workshops and technical discussions.
• Help define scalable business and technical solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered against business objectives and user needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst delivering digital or eCommerce projects.
• Strong requirements‑gathering and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of major eCommerce platforms (Magento 2, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopware).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL or SOAP services.
• Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
