Business Analyst – Financial Services Change

About the role

Alpha Bank is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join its Financial Services Change team in London. This hands‑on, delivery‑focused position blends business analysis with practical testing to ensure safe, high‑quality changes reach production.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clarify and prioritise business requirements with stakeholders.
• Lead discovery workshops and deep‑dive sessions to understand processes and outcomes.
• Define functional and non‑functional requirements, including regulatory, security and control considerations.
• Analyse current‑state processes and design target‑state solutions, contributing to Target Operating Models.
• Collaborate with SMEs, technology teams and vendors to maintain end‑to‑end traceability.
• Support testing and UAT by defining scenarios, handling defect triage and contributing to delivery sign‑off.
• Identify and recommend process and ways‑of‑working improvements.
• Assist with business readiness activities such as communications, training, post‑implementation support and benefits tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering change within Financial Services, preferably banking.
• Strong understanding of operating in a regulated environment, familiar with FCA and PRA expectations.
• Experience with UK retail banking products.
