Business Analyst - SAP Finance Transformation (S/4HANA)

About the role

We are partnering with a global e‑commerce enterprise that is migrating its SAP ECC landscape to SAP S/4HANA RISE. The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between finance stakeholders, architects and SAP implementation partners, ensuring that both current and future finance processes deliver high‑quality, complete and accurate data.

Key responsibilities

• Document and analyse existing (“As‑Is”) financial processes and system architecture within SAP ECC.
• Design optimised “To‑Be” processes that leverage S/4HANA capabilities.
• Validate end‑to‑end financial dataflows, ensuring data quality, completeness and reporting requirements throughout the migration.
• Elicit, manage and translate functional business requirements into clear specifications and perform gap analysis against standard S/4HANA functionality.
• Facilitate design workshops with global finance leads, system integrators and technical architects.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial accounting concepts and end‑to‑end finance dataflows.
• Proven experience in As‑Is/To‑Be process mapping, requirements elicitation and functional specification writing.
• Familiarity with SAP environments (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Ability to analyse financial data, identify risks or gaps and present findings to senior leadership.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
