Business Development Executive

About the role

A growing business based in Weybridge is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive. The role suits someone who enjoys sales, building relationships and working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong earning potential and clear progression. The advertised pay is £30,000 - £38,000 basic plus uncapped commission, with an OTE of £70,000.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound calls, networking and lead generation
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Identify hiring needs and promote solutions to businesses
• Arrange meetings with key decision-makers about HR requirements and market quality candidates
• Manage and grow client and prospect pipelines through CRM systems
• Work towards weekly and monthly KPIs and revenue targets
• Support business development campaigns and sales strategies, prepare client presentations and negotiate new agreements
• Attend networking or client events to strengthen commercial relationships

Required profile

• Previous sales, telesales, business development or customer-facing experience preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident on the phone with strong objection-handling ability
• Target-driven, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
