Business Development Executive – Workwear & PPE

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth for a leading workwear and PPE supplier. Reporting to the Director, you will generate new business, onboard clients and support the company’s expansion across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Work closely with the Director to onboard and upsell existing accounts.
• Visit client sites for relationship building and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.

Required profile

• Experience as a Business Development Executive or similar sales role.
• Knowledge of the workwear or personal protective equipment (PPE) sector.
• Ability to commute to Oldbury, West Midlands.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.

What we offer

• Salary £34,000‑£40,000 per year (OTE up to £48,000).
• Uncapped commission paid at 5% on sales over target.
• Hybrid working after an initial on‑site period.
• Paid mileage and a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (9:00‑17:00).
