Business Development Manager – Industrial & Commercial Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth across the industrial and commercial infrastructure market in the North of England. Working remotely with required travel, you will build strategic relationships and secure new opportunities within major development and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, data‑centre, logistics and warehousing sectors.
• Develop and nurture relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, landowners and senior project stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations and secure commercial agreements that support long‑term strategic partnerships.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with client needs and project timelines.

Required profile

• Proven success in business development, sales or commercial roles within complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation ability and confidence engaging senior decision‑makers.
• Existing network in industrial, commercial, construction, infrastructure or related sectors is advantageous.
• Curious, adaptable and capable of spotting opportunities in evolving markets.
