Business Development & Marketing Manager

About the role

This position supports high‑profile Corporate, Litigation and Finance teams within a prestigious international law firm. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships and raise the firm’s market profile.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of client pitches, proposals and RFP responses.
• Develop and implement strategic business development and marketing plans.
• Manage client and prospect targeting programmes to identify growth opportunities.
• Produce high‑quality marketing collateral, thought‑leadership campaigns and external communications.
• Organise and execute high‑profile client events, seminars and sponsorship initiatives.
• Oversee directory and award submissions to enhance market rankings.
• Conduct market, competitor and client research to support business development activity.
• Drive cross‑selling initiatives and identify opportunities to increase client engagement and revenue.

Required profile

• 7+ years of marketing and business development experience, ideally within legal or professional services.
• Strong pitch, proposal and stakeholder management expertise.
• Exceptional communication, writing and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercially minded, proactive and highly organised.
• Experience using CRM systems and marketing technology platforms is advantageous.
