Business Development & Marketing Manager – Legal Sector

About the role

This boutique West End law firm is looking for an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to shape and execute its BD and marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Board, you will collaborate with fee earners and support teams to raise the firm’s profile and generate new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to increase the firm’s market visibility and win new business.
• Support fee earners in building and maintaining client relationships and identifying prospects.
• Lead all firm marketing events, including seminars, webinars and hospitality functions.
• Maintain and update the firm’s website, coordinating with external web designers as needed.
• Produce client newsletters, bulletins and other marketing collateral, working with external designers.
• Manage social media publishing and collaborate with the external PR team to promote the firm.
• Respond promptly to enquiries generated by marketing activities.

Required profile

• Strong academic background, preferably with a recognised marketing qualification.
• Proven experience in marketing and business development within the legal sector.
• Results‑driven, proactive, enthusiastic and capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Flexible and able to handle a broad, cross‑functional role.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £75,000 per year.
• Hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
• Standard office hours 09:30‑17:30 in the West End, London.
