Business Development Representative Manager

About the role

Ramp is looking for its first Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager in London to lead the expansion of its sales motion across the UK and Europe. As a player‑coach, you will both build a high‑performing BDR team and actively contribute to prospecting initiatives that drive qualified pipeline for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead from the front as a hands‑on player‑coach, modelling best‑in‑class prospecting and qualification.
• Hire, coach, and develop a high‑performing BDR team focused on building qualified European pipeline.
• Build and evolve Ramp’s European BDR playbook, including ICP definition, messaging, sequences, and handoff standards.
• Set clear activity, conversion, and pipeline goals; use data and coaching to improve team performance.
• Partner with Account Executives and cross‑functional teams to sharpen targeting, messaging, and pipeline conversion.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year of quota‑carrying sales experience as an Individual Contributor.
• Consistent quota over‑attainment history.
• Proven ability to help individuals or peers improve performance and advance their careers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a high sense of urgency.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment (5 days a week in London).

Required skills

• Daily fluency with AI tools and workflows.
• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
